Academic and Research Interests

My general area of interest is Computer Science and my area of research is Numerical Analysis, specifically, iterative solutions of large, sparse linear systems.

Personal Overview

I am a member of the Society of Jesus (also known as the "Jesuits"), a Roman Catholic religious order, widely known, among other things, for its educational institutions in the United States. I became a member of the Jesuits in 1969 and was ordained a Catholic priest in 1979. Information on the Jesuit Community at Santa Clara University and the California Province of Jesuits is available.

When I'm not busy teaching Calculus or Computer Science, I dabble in the wonders of Christian liturgy, both western and eastern.
