TA Hours
The Laboratory Assistant for the course
is Matt Bateman (mbateman@math.scu.edu). (If you are on
math, you can just use mbateman.)
Chris Sarcone, who was the lab assistant last quarter, is also
a Pi Mu Epsilon tutor and is available at certain times in the
Sussman Room (O'C 31) for help for any Math/CS Dept course, including
Math 10.
The Lab Assistant will be available a few days before Machine Problems are due
and the availability will vary from assignment to assignment. One
should always check the hours on this page each week.
The Assistant will be available either in the Sussman
Room (O'Connor 31) or, possibly, near the Kenna or Orradre Computer Room,
a day or two days before a program is due.
The TA's duties include helping to decipher error codes and logical
errors (after the program is running), but the TA is not supposed
to write your program for you! If you have difficulty in
understanding how to begin to write the code, please see
me (i.e., your instructor) rather than the TA.
