I studied math and computer science at Carnegie Mellon before getting a Ph.D. in computer science (focusing on cryptography) from Stanford.
My interests include cryptographic primitives — especially discrete logs (bounding security, various applications), identity-based cryptosystems, broadcast encryption, ...
